INNOVATIVE OPFINDELSER I 1962 udviklede vores grundlægger, Eigil Nielsen, en fodbold med 32 felter – et revolutionerende design i fodboldverdenen. Hidtil havde fodbol- de kun 18 felter som standard, hvilket gav en upålidelig bold. Den nyudviklede SELECT-fod- bold havde derimod en optimal rundhed, som sikrede et lige og forudsigeligt svæv samt et kontrolleret opspring. Opfindelsen af fodbolden med 32 felter har mange fodboldspillere sat stor pris på lige siden. At udvikle fodbolden er stadig et stort fokus hos os, og i 2022 kunne vi præsentere den første FIFA-god- kendte intelligente fodbold: SELECT Brillant Super iBall med indbygget chipteknologi. Addi- tionally, we have been the official ball sponsor of the Danish Football Association (DBU) since 1951. INNOVATIVE INVENTIONS In 1962, our founder, Eigil Nielsen, developed a football with 32 panels – a revolutionary design in the world of football. Until then, footballs had only 18 panels as standard, which resulted in an unreliable ball. The newly developed SELECT football, on the other hand, had an optimal roundness, ensuring a straight and predictable flight as well as a controlled bounce. The invention of the football with 32 panels has been greatly appreciated by many football players ever since. Developing the football is still a major focus for us, and in 2022, we were able to present the first FIFA-approved intelligent football: the SELECT Brillant Super iBall with built-in chip technology. 4
